Manual Therapy is a clinical approach utilizing skilled, specific, hands on techniques, including manipulation/mobilization, used by the physical
therapist to assess and treat soft tissue injuries and joint structures. Manual Therapy treatment allows the therapist to:
- Modulate pain
- Increase range of motion
- Reduce/eliminate soft tissue inflammation
- Induce relaxation
- Improve contractile and non/contractile tissue repair
- Improve extensibility or stability
- Facilitate movement
- Improve function
Patients who have acute, sub acute and or
chronic musculoskeletal problems will benefit from this hands
on evaluation and treatment approach provided by a skilled,
licensed, experienced physical therapist.
Manual Therapists are highly trained professionals
who understand the mechanical workings of the human body extremely
well. They use their knowledge, training and experience to
assess and treat patients with a multitude of diagnosis.
