March to End Hunger: Join TTN in Making a Difference!
At The Therapy Network, our mission extends beyond rehabilitation and recovery— we are deeply committed to the well-being of our entire community. This March, we’re rallying together for a cause that touches countless lives: hunger. We are proud to host a month-long food drive in support of the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia & the Eastern Shore, and we invite you—our patients and friends—to stand with us in the fight against food insecurity.
Because Hunger Isn’t Always Visible
Hunger doesn’t always look the way you expect. It could be a coworker, a child in your neighborhood, or even a close friend quietly struggling to put meals on the table. Food insecurity affects people from all walks of life, and no one should have to face it alone. In our region, one in four children go to bed hungry and one in 10 of our neighbors are food insecure. That’s 132,240 people locally who are projected to be food insecure. At TTN, we believe that true care isn’t just about what happens within our treatment rooms— it’s about looking out for one another in every way possible.
Your Donation Matters
Every can of food, every box of pasta, every contribution—big or small—does more than just feed a family in need; it restores dignity, fosters trust, and brings hope to those struggling in silence. What may seem like a small gesture to you could be life-changing for someone else. Your donation might be the reason a parent can both nourish their children and keep the lights on, or why a child can sleep with a full stomach instead of hunger pangs. When we come together, we don’t just provide meals—we show our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and supported.
How You Can Help
We encourage you to bring non-perishable food items to any of our TTN clinic locations throughout the month of March. Not sure what to donate? Consider high-need items like canned proteins, whole grains, peanut butter, and healthy snacks. Personal hygiene items and baby products are always in need, as are low sodium, low fat, and low sugar items.

Quick Facts on the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore’s Impact

• Every $1 donated turns into 2 meals.
• 95 cents of every $1 donated goes directly to programs and not administrative costs (such as salaries).
Join Us in Our March to End Hunger
At The Therapy Network, we believe in the strength of our community. Let’s prove that compassion is more than just a word— it’s an action. Let’s fill our donation bins, spread the word, and show that together, we can fight hunger and bring hope to those who need it most.
Are you ready to make a difference? Stop by any TTN clinic with your food donation today and be part of the change.
