Lauren Stacy, PT, DPT, CMTPT, Cert. MDT, CGA

Lauren, a dedicated professional from Virginia Beach, has been an integral part of The Therapy Network since 2006, initially starting her career as a physical therapy technician. Her passion for physical therapy ignited early, driving her to further her education in this field. Lauren embarked on her academic journey at Tidewater Community College (TCC), where she earned an associate’s degree and qualified as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Her thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there; she pursued further education at Old Dominion University (ODU), obtaining an undergraduate science degree, and culminating her studies with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.

Specializing in gait pathologies and lower extremity biomechanics, Lauren has a profound interest in understanding and improving the way people move. Her commitment to excellence is demonstrated through her additional certifications, including dry needling since 2015 and the McKenzie Method since 2017, which underscore her comprehensive approach to physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Lauren is deeply passionate about continuing education and enhancing her skill set, ensuring she stays at the forefront of physical therapy practices. Outside the clinic, Lauren enjoys a vibrant life filled with hobbies such as caring for her fur-babies, running in local events, camping, dirt biking, and motorcycle racing, reflecting her dynamic and adventurous spirit.
