Sam Lawrence, PT, DPT, Cert. DN

Sam is a Virginia native of Roanoke. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Shenandoah University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Radford University in 2020. Sam spent most of his college career in high-level sports such as basketball and baseball. In his physical therapy career, Sam utilizes his own experiences as an athlete to propel his passion for sports rehabilitation and physical injury recovery. Many of the principles Sam utilizes in sports therapy can also be applied to other populations, such as geriatric patients. As a physical therapist, Sam’s goal is to best identify issues and solutions with his patients to decrease their pain and aid in improving their overall quality of life. Sam is a Graston Technique provider (M1) as of 2019 and he is eager to expand his skill set to include other instrument-assisted and myofascial techniques to aid in both sports and general populations.
