Travis Walke, PT, DPT
I was born and raised in Virginia Beach and have always dreamed of raising my family here. I graduated from Landstown High School and have been a lifelong soccer player. I played for Beach FC, Landstown, and Virginia Wesleyan University. I majored in biology and minored in chemistry, completing my undergraduate degree in 2012.
I have had a long interest in physical therapy ever since being introduced as a patient as a result of my own soccer injury. My physical therapy experience was incredible, and I was determined to serve my community through this profession. I graduated with my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University in 2022 and joined The Therapy Network that same year.
Although my initial interest in physical therapy was to be involved in sports rehabilitation, I learned that I am passionate about providing physical therapy services to improve mobility, pain, and safety for various orthopedic conditions. In addition to my interest in general orthopedics, I am passionate about balance training and fall prevention to allow older adults to remain active and independent. Outside of my work as a physical therapist, I enjoy going to the beach, playing soccer, and hanging out with my friends and family.
Convenient access to treatment is key to positive patient care. I, and TTN, provide same-day appointments and superior quality care for our patients.
