Myofascial Release Therapy or MRT relaxes contracted muscles as it improves blood circulation. It is often part of a comprehensive recovery plan.

MRT massages the fascia or connective tissue as it brings hydration back through blood flow. The result is a decrease in compression around the injured area.
In comparison, deep tissue massage works on trouble spots by manipulating muscle and tissue.

MRT is prescribed as part of a complete recovery plan and will be paired with other therapies.
